Why consider a Geothermal heatpump?

A geothermal heatpump is one of the most energy-efficient ways to heat and cool that is available today. It takes the heat from the earth or ground water source and moves it into the home in the winter. It also takes the heat out of the home and transfers it back into the ground water source in the summer. Hot water can also be provided by utilizing the heat from the home in the summer cooling season thereby providing additional energy savings. Savings of 50% over conventional heating and cooling systems may be realized by utilizing geothermal heatpump systems.
